Front 9

After the front three holes Ian Stewart (9) and Raymond Steele (11) were leading by two points from Michael Burton (8) (after faili8ng to score at Lillyvale). Steele followed up with a bogey, par, bogey and was leading by one point from an improving Burton with a birdie, par , bogey. Stewart was another two points behind after a double bogey and two bogeys.approaching The Treasury. Burton finished with a birdie at Longlands after a birdie at The Treasury and a bogey at the Sanctuary to win by two points from Steele (bogey, double bogey, par) and Stewart (par, bogey, birdie). Second place went to Stewart with a better last three.

Twos were recorded by – K.Clements, M.Burton, L.Foster, N.Neill, G.Wilson and S.Black.

 

Back 9

Through Arthurs Seat Alastair Murray (8) and Jordan Hood (-3) were vying for the lead but were being followed close up a point behind by Trevor Galloway (12). David Martin (8) ('ding' at Arthurs Seat) was another point back followed by Gary Wilkins (4) a further point down. Over Beechers Murray with a par, double bogey and a par and Hood (three pars) were still leading by a point from Galloway (two bogeys and a par) and an improving Martin (par, bogey, par). Wilkins (bogey, par, birdie) was still in contention another two points behind. In a very close finish Murray returned with two pars and a bogey to win by one point from Martin (par, bogey, par), Hood (par, bogey, birdie) and Galloway (two bogeys and a par)., Second place went to Martin with a better last six and Galloway came third. Wilkins (birdie and two pars) finished a point behind in fourth place with a better last six. Hood won the Gross with 19 gr/pts. 

Twos were recorded by - P.Hughes, J.Dembinski,J.Sutherland, N.Fitzsimmons, A.Robinson, A.Knox, C.Doherty, D.O'Kane, C.Lappin and R.Brown.

 

 

There is no change in the top four positions with Spences leading by sixteen points froim Trouts with Lillyvale a further twelve points back in third place. Walkers dropped from joint third to fourth place another two points behind.
