Back 9 (main competition) Division 1

 

Victory for Daly

Through The Maple Gary Jackson (2) with four pars held a one point advantage over Peter Daly playing off three. Andrew Moore (3) was another point behind. Jackson bogeyed Devils Elbow, birdied Beechers and parred the Grove and was joined by Daly after a steady run of three pars. Moore with three pars was only a point behind with two holes left to play. In a close finish Daly edged ahead with a bogey at Lowlands and an eagle three at Shirleys Cottage to win by one point from Jackson who finished with two pars and Moore (bogey down Lowlands and an eagle thre at Shirleys Cottage). Second place went to Moore with a better last six.

 

Back 9 (main competition) Division 2

Approaching the Devils Elbow William Rainey, playing off a handicap of five, was leading by two points from Harry Cook (5) with Aidan McNeill (7) another point behind. Rainey failed to score at the Devils Elbow and parred Beechers and the Grove. McNeill took advantage after Rainey's mishap with a par at Devils Elbow and a bogey at Beechers and joined him in the lead with a birdie up the Grove. Cook was another three points behind after recording a par at Devils Elbow, a bogey over Beechers and a double bogey at the Grove. Rainey finished with a par down Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage to win by one point from McNeill (bogey at Lowlands and a birdie at Shirleys Cottage) and a strong finish by Cook with a par at Lowlands and an albatross at Shirleys Cottage. Second place went to Cook with a better last one.

Jonathan McNeill (-2) won the Gross with 21 pts.

Front 9

Through The Niuc Drew Stewart (6) held a narrow one point advantage over Gareth Elliott (8). Robert Barkley (8) and Raymond Steele (10) were another one and two points respectively further behind. Stewart was still leading at The Treasury by a point after a par at Walkers Home and bogeys at Broadmeadows and The Treasury but was being hard pressed by Elliott (par at Walkers Home, birdie at Broadmeadows and a bogey at The Treasury) and an improving Barkley with a par at Walkers Home, bogey at Broadmeadows and a par at The Treasury. Steele (three bogeys) was another point behind. In a very close and exciting finish there was a tie between Stewart (bogey at the Sanctuary and a par at Longlands), Elliott (two pars) and Barkley (bogey at the Sanctuary and a birdie at Longlands). First place was taken by Barkley with a better last six; Elliott came second with a better last six and Stewart finished in third place. Steele (bogey at the Sanctuary and a par at Longlands) finished two points outside the placings.
