Galgorm is Northern Ireland’s premier tournament venue, home to the new NI Legends Open that will be played on the 2025 European Legends Tour from Aug 28-31, 2025.
The renowned Northern Ireland venue has hosted 19 professional tournaments in recent years, including the 2020 Irish Open on the DP World Tour. Galgorm Also hosted the World Invitational in 2019, 2021-23, a tri-sanctioned event for men and women professionals on the DP World Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour plus 13 NI Opens between 2010-2024.
The 7,267-yard championship Castle Course has gained an international reputation as one of the most challenging and strategic tests in professional golf where players and spectators love to return each year. Galgorm is considered one of Ireland’s best parkland courses where the river Maine and Braid run through the property, while mature woodland, strategic water hazards and perfect putting surfaces ensure a wonderful test.
Galgorm was ranked number two in Northern Ireland in the Irish Golfer magazine rankings. The Ballymena venue is also a former Parkland Course of the Year winner at the annual IGTOA awards (Irish Golf Tour Operator Association).
Galgorm’s Academy is a golfing Centre of Excellence with Toptracer Range, home to the Dave Pelz Short Game School in Northern Ireland, Gareth Maybin’s Academy plus some of the best coaching and practice facilities in country. Golfers of all ability can work on their game at Galgorm that also includes the short game area, Fun Golf Area and Himalayas Putting Green. The expert team of dedicated PGA professionals is headed up by Director of Golf Ross Oliver with lessons and coaching available all year.
