Division 1

Cameron Lappin playing off a handicap of six held a three point advantage over Colin Steele (6) at halfway in the Wilson's of Rathkenny Stableford played at Galgorm Castle Golf Club. Adam Cooke (6) was another point behind. Nathan Scullion (9) and Sean McCormick (5) were a further two and three points respectively further back. Through The Maple Lappin was joined in the lead by Cooke followed by Steele another two points behind. McCormick and Scullion were in contention another one and two points respectively behind. Up the Grove Cooke with a bogey at Devils Elbow and pars at Beechers and the Grove was leading by a point from Lappin (par at Devils Elbow followed by two bogeys) and Steele (par, birdie at Beechers and a bogey at the Grove). McCormick (three pars) was another point behind and Scullion (three bogeys) a further point down. In a close finish Cooke (par down Lowlands and a bogey at Shirleys Cottage) was joined by Lappin with two pars. First place went to Cooke with a better back nine. A point behind, Steele (par, bogey), McCormick (bogey at Lowlands and a birdie at Shirleys Cottage) and Scullion (bogey at Lowlands and a birdie to finish) finished together. Third place went to Scullion with a better back nine). McCormick Won the Seniors (better back nine).

Josh Nicholl (-2) Won the Gross with thirty eight points.

 

Division 2

At The Fort John McCarry (13) was being pushed for the lead by James Taylor (10) a point behind. Andrew Collins (10) and Mark Hamilton (10) were another two and three points respectively behind. At the Devils Elbow McCarry, Taylor and Collins were vying for the lead three points ahead of Hamilton ('ding' at Arthurs Seat). Up the Grove Collins with a par at Devils Elbow, 'ding', birdie at the Grove was being closely followed by Taylor (bogey, par at Beechers, bogey at the Grove) and McCarry ('ding', bogey over Beechers, par at the Grove) a point behind. Collins with a two bogey finish Won by two points from Taylor (bogey at Lowlands, double bogey at Shirleys Cottage), Hamilton (double bogey at Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage) and McCarry (bogey at Lowlands, double bogey at Shirleys Cottage) who finished together. Second place went to Hamilton (better back nine) with Taylor third (better back nine).

Division 3

Jonathan Keys (19) and Samuel Henry (18) were vying for the lead at halfway three points ahead of Drew Stewart (18) ('ding' at Piat). Two points further back came Jack Dunseith (18) ('ding' at Longlands). Jonny McIlroy (18) was another point behind. At Devils Elbow Keys had a slender point advantage over Henry with Dunseith another point behind. Stewart ('ding' at Piat) and McIlroy were a further point down. Approaching Lowlands Henry was leading by a point but being hard pressed by Dunseith (par at Beechers, bogey at the Grove), McIlroy (pars at Beechers and the Grove) and Keys (bogey, double bogey at the Grove). Stewart (bogey, par at the Grove) was another point back. Dunseith finished strongly with two pars to WIN OVERALL. There was a very close finish for the placings to the Division another two points behind between McIlroy (double bogey at Lowlands and a par to finish), Keys (par at Lowlands, bogey at Shirleys Cottage, Stewart (par at Lowlands, bogey at Shirleys Cottage) and Henry ('ding' at Lowlands, par at Shirleys Cottage). McIlroy WON the Division (better back nine); second place went to Stewart (better back nine) and third place to Keys with a better last six.

 

Division 4

Three points separated the first five players at The Fort. Jonathan McCullough (24) (;ding' at the Trout Hole) was leading by one point from Jon-Paul Kearney (25). Philip John Martin (20) was another point behind followed by Ronnie Gilchrist (21) a further point back. At The Maple Kearney was the new leader by two points over McCullough ('dings' at The Fort and Arthurs Seat) and Gilchrist. Martin was a further point in arrears. Over Beechers Kearney continued to lead after a bogey at Devils Elbow and a par at BeechersMcCullough (two pars) was a point behind. Gilchrist (two bogeys) was a further point behind with Martin (par at Devils Elbow and a bogey at Beechers) another point down. McCullough finished with a double bogey at the Grove, bogey at Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage to WIN the OVERALL RUNNER-UP placing. Kearney finished par at the Grove, double bogey at Lowlands, 'ding' at Shirleys Cottage a point behind to WIN Division 4 by two points from Gilchrist (bogey at the Grove, double bogey at the Lowlands, bogey at Shirleys Cottage) and Martin (double bogey at the Grove, bogey at Lowlands, par at Shirleys Cottage). With a better back nine Gilchrist came second with Martin in third place.
