Division 1
Nine handicapper James Taylor was holding a slender one point advantage over Conor Nicholl (8) at halfway. They were being hard pressed by Thomas McNeill (10), Cameron Lappin (4) and Steven Penney (1) another point behind. Approaching the Devils Elbow McNeill and Nicholl were the new leaders by a point from Taylor with Lappin and Penney a further two and three points respectively behind. McNeill parred the Devils Elbow and bogeyed Beechers) and Nicholl (par,bogey) were joined by Taylor (two pars) in a threeway tie. Lappin (two pars) and Penney (par at Devils Elbow followed by a birdie over Beechers) were two points behind. In a close fijnish over the closing three holes Thomas McNeill bogeyed the Grove and the Lowlands and finished with a par at Shirleys Cottage and Taylor (two bogeys and a par) finished together with First place going to McNeill with a better back nine. There was also a very close finish for third place between Conor Nicholl (three bogeys), Lappin (par at thew Grove, birdie at Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage) amd Penney (two pars and a birdie at Shirleys Cottage) who finished together, Penney won the Gross and Lappin (better back nine) finished in third place.
Division 2
Through the Front 9 Chris Cooke (14) was leading by two points from Norman Reid (14) and Timothy D;Arcy ('ding' at Walkers Home). Keith Dinsmore (17) ('ding' at Lillyvale) was another point behind with Peter Daly (11) ('ding' at the Sanctuary) a further four points down. Through The Maple Cooke and D'Arcy were leading by a point frim Reid. Dinsmore was another point behind and Daly a further three points back Coming to the Lowlands D'Arcy recorded pars at the Devils Elbow and Beechers but a 'ding' at the Grove enabled Reid to draw level (after a par ,bogey, par) in the lead by a point from Dinsmore (birdie at the Devils Elbow followed by a double bogey at Beechers and a bogey at the Grove). Cooke ('ding' at Devi]s Elbow followed by two bogeys) was another point behind and Daly (bogey and two pars) was a further two points back Reid finished par, bogey to Win |by one point from D'Arcy (double bogey at Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage). In a close finish for third place Dinsmore (double bogey, bogey), Cooke (double bogey, par) and Daly with two pars finished together another two points behind. Third place went to Daly with a better back nine.
Division 3
At the tenth tee Andrew McCartney (26) was the clear leader by three points over John McFarland (26). Colin Orr (22) (@'ding; at The Niuc) was another point behind, followed by Thomas Dunbar (29) and David Rankin ('dings' at the Sanctuary and Longlands) were a further point back. At The Maple McCartney was leading by four points from McFarland, Orr and Rankin. Dunbar was another point behind. Up the Grove McCartney, after two bogeys and a double bogey at the Grove had his lead cut to two points by Orr (pars at Devils Elbow and Beechers and a bogey at the Grove) and Rankin (two pars and a double bogey). McFarland (double bogey and two bogeys) and Dunbar (double bogey and two bogeys) were another two points behind. McCartney finished with a bogey at Lowlands and a par at Shirleys Cottage to Win by five points from Dunbar (bogey, double bogey) in second place. A point behind came Orr (two double bogeys) and McFarland ('ding', par). Orr came third with a better back nine.; Rankin (bogey, double bogey) with a better back nine won the Seniors.
