Back 9 (main competition) Division 1

Approaching the Devils Elbow Gary Jackson (2) and Michael Alexander (2) were vying for the lead a point ahead of Peter Houston (1). Peter Daly (3) was a further two points behind followed by Sean McCormick (0) another point down. Alexander birdied the Devils Elbow and parred Beechers and the Grove to take a two point lead over Jackson (two pars and a bogey up the Grove. McCormick (birdie at Devils Elbow, par at Beechers and a birdie at the Grove) and Houston (bogey at Devils Elbow followed by two pars) were another point behind. Daly (bogey and two pars) was a further point in arrears. In a close finish Alexander 'dinged' the Lowlands and eagled Shirleys Cottage. Jackson took advantage of Alexander's mishap at Lowlands and drew level with a par, eagle finish. First place was taken by Jacksoin with a better last three. There was also a close finish for third place between McCormick ('ding' albatross), Peter Houston (par, birdie) and Daly (par, eagle three at Shirleys Cottage)., Third place went to McCormick with a better last six. 

The Gross was won by Rory Sempey (-1) with 21 pts (BL3).

 

Back 9 (main competition) Division 2

Damian Gillan (6) held a narrow one point lead at The Maple but was being hard pressed for the lead by Robert Barkley (8), Robert Artt (6) ('ding' at Arthurs Seat) and Aidan McNeill (7) a point behind. Garry Robinson (8) was another point behind. Barkley after pars at Devils Elbow and Beechers had opened up a lead of two points over Artt (bogey, par), Gillan (par, double bogey), McNeill (bogey, par) and Robinson (bogey, par). Robert Barkley parred the Grove and the Lowlands and birdied Shirleys Cottage to win by one point from Robinson who finished with a birdie, bogey, and an eagle three at Shirleys Cottage. There was also a very close finish for third place another two points behind between Artt (bogeys at the Grove and Lowlands and an eagle three at Shirleys Cottage, McNeill (b ogey at the Grove, par at Lowlands and a birdie at Shirleys Cottage and Gillan who returned a par, bogey and an eagle three.. Third place went to Artt with a better last one.

 

Front 9

Through The Niuc Michael Caterson (5) was leading by a point from Ross McCallum (5) and Colin Black (5). Conor Nicholl (1) was another point behind. Black after recording pars at Walkers Home and Broadmeadows and a bogey at The Treasury joined Caterson (bogey at Walkers Home followed by a par and a bogey) in the lead. Close up a point behind came McCallum (bogeys at Walkers Home and Broadmeadows and a par) and Nicholl with three pars. Caterson parred the Sanctuary and birdied Longlands to win by one point from McCallum (birdie, par). Black (two bogeys) and Nicholl (birdie at the Sanctuary and a bogey at Longlands) were another two points behind and third place went to Black with a better last six).
